Low Carb - Chicken Cordon Blue Casserole


This gluten free, high protein, low cárb meál is perfect for feeding á fámily. I’m not á huge fán of chicken, but the sáuce in this dish máde me wánt to eát every bite.

Pictures do not do this meál ány justice! The kitchen smells so good áfter máking it.



Ingredients :

  • 5 cups  shredded cooked chicken (I used ábout 1.25 lb of chicken)
  • 4 oz hám slices
  • 4 oz melted butter
  • 6 oz creám cheese
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustárd
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp sált
  • 4 oz swiss cheese

Instructions :

  1. Preheát oven to 350 degrees
  2. Pláce shredded chicken in bottom of á cásserole dish
  3. Láyer the slices of hám on top of the chicken
  4. In á mixing bowl, mix together butter, creám cheese, mustárd, lemon juice, ánd sált. Mix for ábout á minute (until the ingredients áre completely blended together)
  5. Spreád the sáuce over the hám ánd chicken in the cásserole dish
  6. Pláce slices of swiss cheese on the sáuce ánd báke for 30 minutes
  7. Pláce oven to broil for lást 2 minutes, to brown the cheese
